I just read a story that made me weep. It is heartwrenching and beautiful and truthful. It is a story that relates nothing at all to my life and at the same time speaks such honest emotion that I relate to it entirely. And it's fanfiction.
Yup, you read that right. Nightfall is a work of fanfiction. But honestly, the only fanfic-y ness of it is that the characters are not original and there are some throw away backstory lines that connect it to fandom. Honestly, they could change every name and idetifying characteristic and would still cry. So get over the bias and read something touchingly romantic.
